How to Wash
How to clean our reusable pads:
1. Soaking in cold water first is essential for removing blood. It’s important to avoid hot water during the first rinse because it sets bloodstains. Leave for a minimum of 30 minutes – we would recommend facing the used side downward as it allows the blood to separate from the fabric to the bottom of the water bucket.
2. Once soaked, rinse until the cold water runs clear as this will clean the majority of the blood out of the fabric.
3. Washing with soap is essential to ensure any remaining residual is removed – you can wash the pad either by hand or in the washing machine along with other clothes.
4. Lastly, you can dry the pad by a clothesline with direct sunlight (recommend as it prevents staining) or in a tumble dryer on low
