Shipping Information
Star Hygiene ships products throughout Australia.
By placing an order with Star Hygiene, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Shipping Policy.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days following receipt of payment.
Orders are not processed, dispatched, or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
During periods of high order volume, stock shortages, supplier delays, promotional events, extreme weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control, processing and delivery times may be extended.
Where a significant delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you using the contact details provided with your order.
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes provided on our website are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Actual delivery times may vary depending on:
- Product availability.
- Delivery location.
- Freight carrier schedules.
- Weather conditions.
- Public holidays.
- Regional or remote delivery locations.
- Circumstances beyond Star Hygiene's reasonable control.
Star Hygiene shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party freight carriers or events outside our reasonable control.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on product dimensions, weight, delivery location, and carrier rates.
For oversized, bulky, dangerous goods, palletised, or commercial freight orders, additional freight charges may apply. Where applicable, Star Hygiene will contact you prior to dispatch.
Authority to Leave
Where Authority to Leave (ATL) is selected or requested, Star Hygiene and the delivery carrier will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after the delivery has been completed at the nominated address.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon successful delivery.
Delivery Addresses
Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery information is accurate and complete.
Additional freight charges may apply where:
- Incorrect delivery details are provided.
- Delivery is unsuccessful.
- Goods require redelivery.
- Goods are returned to sender.
Missing Deliveries
If your order has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate with the freight carrier.
Claims for missing deliveries should be made within 14 days of the expected delivery date.
Damaged Goods
Customers should inspect goods upon delivery.
If goods arrive damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please notify Star Hygiene as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours of delivery.
To assist with investigations, customers should:
- Retain all original packaging.
- Photograph any damage.
- Provide details of the issue.
- Not dispose of damaged goods until instructed.
Where goods are confirmed to have been damaged in transit, Star Hygiene will work with the customer and carrier to provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Remote and Regional Deliveries
Delivery to remote, regional, offshore, mining, agricultural, or restricted-access locations may incur additional charges and extended transit times.
International Shipping
Star Hygiene currently ships within Australia only.
We do not currently offer international shipping.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where goods are lost, damaged, defective, or fail to comply with consumer guarantees, customers may be entitled to remedies as provided by Australian Consumer Law.
